Our last gig of the year was a 50th birthday bash for a guy who booked us after seeing us play a local pub.

Looks like fun! But you can't drop a pic of a deep dish Ludwig snare and not tell us about it. We have rules about these things! :p Beautiful!
I hate to disappoint, but that's a DIY project, Ludwig hardware on a Tempus fibreglass shell.

No live work this week but two days of rehearsal camp for a new show starting up in late winter... 7 hours of playing for two straight days... I would like to say 14 hours of practice made me a better drummer, but right now it just made me a tired one!

Best kind of practice there is!

Cheating slightly, because I'm not actually a drummer (I'm a producer and engineer) and this isn't me (it's one of my favourite human beings and a truly fantastic musician) but I DO get to show off my lovely Noble and Cooley Horizon kit!

People moving far away, so farewell show with my band, The Palace.

We hadn’t played in almost two years. Bittersweet-- but my older son was in the audience. First time hearing me with the full on rock show.

It’s been my experience that every rehearsal or show can provide a lasting memory—a unique moment you can hold and forever enjoy.

Sometimes it’s something on stage, other times it’s something out in the audience. In this case it was both.

Got booked for a few Christmas parties at a beautiful resort / catering place in rural GA. Using a 20, 14x11 floor, Acrolite, 19" Zildjian "Beautiful Baby" with two rivets, 16" Mehmet, 14" Masterwork hats.
No mics or in ears so set up / breakdown is quick and easy.
Your sparkle finish matched the color of the pool, if my eyes saw correctly. Good one!
