Snare was a Ludwig 402 Supra.

My ears have never agreed with the 5x14” LM400.
On the other hand I love the 6.5x14” 402. To my ears; two totally different animals. Plus it was the right sound for the song I was tracking.

Heck yes, that is a looker to be sure, even sounds good in the pic!@Fat Drummer here is a pic if that snare. It is a weird one-off that came from Ridgeland with 302s instead of the usual single-flanged and claws. A good sounding and feeling snare. View attachment 594603
