...what if you just got a Pearl JG16 kit and use it on the bigger floor tom?

Outdoor gig today. Brought the big guns out. Was asked to not bring the big guns out next month. LOL.
Sheesh, when will they learn that a 20" bass isn't inherently any "louder" than a 26" bass... that's as silly as saying the "A" string is louder than the "B" string.

I have a Dunnet coversion kit I use for my 16" floor tom. Works great too. I would just like to have a real 18" kick drum. I've been watching on Ebay and Reverb.

I know right? I posted a video playing a 8/10/10/16 set up and those are really loud. I played that at an ndoor gig and I had a plexiglass sheild in front of me. My only other option as suggested by a band mate was to drag the E-kit out of the practice place. Forget that! I'll make it work.

Best bar owner ever- Al at Knuckleheadz Too in Tulsa. Provided full kit, pa/mics with stands, and even amps. Used my own cymbals, snare, pedal and throne.
Should have taken a pic of the Huge brisket plate the whole trio chowed on.
