Timothy Roberts Mod 21" 1870g

Here's a beautiful cymbal from Timothy Roberts, a modification of an Istanbul Mehmet Turk 21". Timothy lathed about 170 grams off and did extensive overhammering. Great stick, nice warmth and complexity, full and easy crash. A great one-cymbal option. $390 shipped.

Would have loved to hear what this 21 sounded like at the original 2120 gm.....which when dropped down to 20" is 1870 gm......which is usually a perfect low medium thin weight.

I checked, and it was originally about 2040; alas, I don't have a before soundfile. I tend to like very thin cymbals (my main is 22" and around 2009 ). This one is nice and thin but still with enough stiffness and high enough profile to have great stick and not be overly washy.
