Is anyone familiar with TRX Cymbals? I've mostly played Meinl for the past few years, but am starting to form an interest in these cymbals. Here's a clip of Travis Orbin demoing these cymbals while he was an endorsee:

A friend of mine in Singapore endorses them. He absolutely loves them.

I have had a 21" TRX ride for years and it's wonderful. I also had several sets of TRX hats that for some stupid reason sold. Quality of these cymbals are very very good

These are just rebranded Masterworks right?

I think so jkuhl,,,I had a trx 8" splash with a nice TRX ink logo and a stamped masterwork stamp on it.

Back in 2010 I had an entry level endorsement from TRX. Loved them, and still use their hats. My artist rep, Arin Ilejay got the drum chair for Avenged Sevenfold and my endorsement went away with him.

To me, the brand name is terrible, TRX. It's what kept me away from trying one. Stupid I know but it's a first impression. Funny, the name Ming didn't keep me from trying one of those out and look at me now ;-) I'll try a TRX for sure now.

I just pulled out my 21" 3118 gram MDM TRX ride for the first time in about a year. What a nice heavy ride,,,the bell is outstanding, the hammering,,,fairly versatile,,,,win win win.
