I see a lot of Iron Cobras and 5000s around. I have a Pearl p120 that I like. I kinda want to try the Yamaha pictured above to match with my hat pedal

I also have a P120 laying around. Great pedal. I do not gig with it anymore because it's a bit heavy, but a solid performer in my opinion - especially for classic rock.

I would go with the Pearl Eliminator Redline. It's your basic, bullet proof chain drive right out of the box. You also have the option to play around with the different cams, beater angles and footboard adjustments if you like. There is also a lower priced single cam version that doesn't have all the bells and whistles.

For me it ended up being the same pedal for hard rock, 80's rock, Metal, Jazz, Blues and Disco.
Pearl Eliminator or the DW5000 or my Vector -
