There was a thread over on Cymbalholic by the same name that I really enjoyed over the years. Let's see if we can stir one up over here. I'll start! :)

This is a shot from the percussion section of the Sidney Concert Band at our annual spring concert last Sunday. Front and centre in the photo is my treasured Bettis Reverse China Crash that I bought from trashman over on Cymbalholic a few years back. This cymbal goes with me to every gig. I just love exploring its treasure of hidden colours and sounds, and occasionally giving it a good smack to make everyone focus. The Sabian Hand Hammered Duo Ride on the right is a wonderful cymbal for big full crescendos with timpani mallets.

I'll play...

Here's a shot from just before last night's gig.
15" Zildjian "Transition stamp" Hi-hats
16" Supernatural crash (not visible, I wasn't photographing the cymbals)
18" Supernatural crash (not visible)
20" K. Zildjian Pre-Aged Dry Light Ride
18" Sabian AAX Xplosion crash
18" Sabian AA Chinese (bought new in the 1980s)

I have lots more cymbals but these are the ones that have been coming out to my "Rock" gigs lately. I'm not sure if Supernatural is even still in business but they are nice sounding cymbals.

I'm playing with the Bayside Big Band at an outdoor gig on Saturday. Last night we had a 'rehearsal' gig at a small local club. Here's the Rogers kit all ready to go:
