I've had this old hi-hat stand in my collection for a number of years now. It's an incredible hi-hat with direct-pull action, solid brass tubing, high-quality machined adjustment collar and clutch assemblies. I've seen stands just like this with the "TOP" logo stamped into the footboard. This stand is nearly identical to the Slingerland "KRUPA" hi-hat stand, I think that the Slingerland drum company bought the patent design from this company, which was located in Chicago, Illinois and applied it to their line of Radio King drum stands.

Included with the stand is a pair of vintage 12" spun steel, yes, steel, large cup "sock" hi-hat cymbals. These cymbals have a unique tone, but both of them are quite rusty.
