Vintage cloud badge Slingerland marcher - maple interior ?

If so , any chance this is a steambent single ply maple shell ? If it's still round , maybe a good project - no lug bolt holes to deal with .

For what it's worth, I bought a cloudbadge marching snare which the store claimed was single ply... it wasn't.

More than likely no, When I was in High School marching band we got all of our local colleges Cloud Badge marching snare drums they were all mahogany interior drums.

Not all cloud badges are created equal. That badge was used primarily on marching and juvenile lines.

I have a 40s radio king floor tom that the inner ply is maple and outer is mahogany. Only one I’ve seen like that but I’m sure if that’s what they had available that’s what they used.
