Vintage Ludwig 70's B/O badge Red Sparkle Big Beat 4pc kit 13/14/18/24 -
AWESOME HUGE KIT! Drums are in original condition and complete with no extra holes or modifications. serials show it was a born together kit and spent it whole life together, all serial #s 117xxxx.

14" x 24" basss drum serial # 1170940
9" x 13" rack tom - serial # 1171134
10" x 14" rack tom serial # 1170955
16" x 18" floor tom serial # 1173929

wrap and chrome are excellent, 3ply clear interior shells and bearing edges are extremely clean and unmolested.

this kit is a total powerhouse. Monster! Huge warm, fat tones with focused attack, drums sound great at all tunings, high or low.hanks

take it for a great price -
$1499 + ship!

let me know if you are interested
thanks

some of the baddest sounding drums ever made right here, after playing a kit like this for just 10 minutes you will know why so many drummers chose to play Ludwigs of this era.

Great looking set!

Nit-picking point, but with each drum being bigger than a "Big Beat" set I think these would be considered a "Rock Machine" set.

Is this kit still available? In one of the photos there appears to be something above the badge below the rim on the 13” Tom?
