My photo ability leaves something to be desired. That Mapex is matte black with gold hardware. But I like the way you think!!!

After an initial tune of the Pearl, the RC is dryer with less overtones and not as ringy. I haven't had much time to play with the Pearl since I just got it. Give me a few days and I'll give you a report. Thanks for your question.
