WFL 6.5 X 14 Help With Model and Dating

Can you please help me with the model and dating this drum, early badge and muffler all nickel plated fittings and hoops. Early WFL Logo on throw off and butt plate 6.5 x 14 6 lugger with high reinforcement rings
The nearest reference I can find is a 1948 Supreme but in Rob Cooks Ludwig Book they seem to be Zephyr lugs
Also both batter and snare heads are Calfskin with no stamp on either

1949 catalog has it. model no 490 Supreme Concert

That's a beauty. Has to be refinished. Not a scratch on it. Appears to be a 6 lug. Definitely not Zephyr lugs.

WFL Wood Shell 5 x 14 ??

Quite a few years ago when vintage drums were reasonably cheap to buy I bought a 6 lug 5 x 14 WFL SD from the States. The previous owner had painted it blue, yes I know. All the fittings were nickel plated, WFL Throw off and Butt Plate Hoops, it is a Mahogany/Poplar Shell but I cannot find any...

Yep, I've got two WFL Wood Shell drums that I couldn't place in the Rob Cook Ludwig Book but thanks to all your help I think we have sorted them, Thanks Again

you bet .... i have one it's been wrapped , but like you said ... warm and fat
