What Are Your Favorite Car Years?

It's more than a decade, but '55 to the early 70's is my favorite, even though they were generally so very different. Rounded squares in the 50's to very angular in the late 60's to early 70's.

I'd love to have a mid to late 50's Ford Country Squire or Falcon wagon to go to gigs. The '64 Lincoln Continental was classy ans stylish. I also really like the late 60's Camaros, Novas, and Mercury Cougars. I've been watching the Dukes of Hazzard lately and I've been wanting a '69 Dodge Charger too, minus the bars and stars.

In the early 2000's I had a '71 VW Squareback that was fun to drive, when it ran. I think I worked on it every other week until the engine seized up. I have no idea how it happened because I always checked the oil level and changed it religiously every 3 months.

My VW GTI is a 2017 model. So, I'd say that 2017 was a good car year for me. :D
