just got a percpad for some extra sounds on stage. fun little unit. it has a bass pedal input that i might want to use. is there a special pedal, or are there generics? it has a 1/4" plug-in. thanks for any info.

I Have a Yamaha KU 100, does some triggering, but you have to hit it very hard. The pedal from my TD-1k is a little better but still too little response. Millennium eDrum kick pad from Thomann + real pedal works as it should.

on the other hand...I used the percpad for years, in a cover band, mostly for claves, tambourine, claps. Great value and so easy to fit on stage. I tried an inexpensive used Roland KD 7 bass trigger but didn't like it.
If you find an inexpensive trigger that works I'm happy for you but the KD-10 worked better for me.
Haven't tried a KD-9 but with a mesh surface and about $100 it might work?
