Here's a Bosphorus Groove Series (ex Stanton Moore) 20" Pang Thang with Trash Crash style cluster hammering and 8 rivets. Weight 1545 g.

I've considered selling it twice as I don't really use it, but every time I watch this video, I decide to keep it, at least until I get to try it with a big band. It's perhaps a bit on the light side for a big band swish.

What do you think?

I've a traditional Bosphorus China 20" (really a swish and a gene krupa sounding handmade one at that) at 1630 g lucky to have found pre owned. 100% musical in the old Turkish way and not too light at all)

I could get used to the pang thang If I could stay away or not get caught down in it's lows too much..

Oh yeah, I'm liking that!

Nice ride for certain styles of jazz and I'm thinking a nice effects crash to. I'm pretty sure Mel Lewis would have liked it!

I dig it.

Hey Thomas - was that a special order with the Trash clusters? Mine doesn't have those.
