Inspired by MapexAlways long thread , I thought it might be cool to start a new thread about what you currently have on order now drumswise . It could be a kit , snare - what have you got on order and when are you expecting it ?

For me ? A Tama Starclassic Walnut/Birch kit 22 x 14 ; 12 x 8 and 16 x 16 in ocean blue ripple lacquer finish .Should arrive in January

On June 27th I special ordered two yellow Humes & Enduro Pro 5" x 14" snare cases from Sweetwater. The usual estimated time of delivery for special order/color cases is ten weeks, tomorrow will mark nineteen weeks. Currently, Sweetwater is estimating that I'll get them sometime in mid-November.

They say that "Patience is a virtue", I'm feeling pretty virtuous right now.

24” OSC II formed from a completely flat blank. Here’s a video after patina, there are a couple others one when he first finished it, then another after 10 days rest

I have a few pairs of sticks on order right now with LAR sticks (LeRoy Rhodes), a slight custom model that he made for me and I really like, based on a long 5B. I am really liking the new Paiste flat rides, so that may be in the near future as an early Christmas present to myself.

I got a stave piccolo snare from Diamond Drum Co. - in progress. I'm hoping by early December but IDK.

Oh and one of those quick release hi hat clutch things due to be delivered from Sweetwater tomorrow. And one of those cheap Chinese telecaster clones from Thomann also due tomorrow. I ordered from Thomann in the UK on Monday. A week to my door? Insane.

A used prototype 22" Sabian Flat Ride from GC.

The risky parts of it (there are many):

• Has two strips of tape and some other tape ghosting across the top. "Warning signs" IMO.
• Can't tell if its an AA or HH (the usual terrible GC pics prevent a good ID)
• No idea how much it weighs
• No idea how it sounds

The good:

• Only $135
• Could be a cheap diamond in the rough
• If it is a total manhole cover it can be returned

I only have a 13x9 Tama Walnut Star still in que. It's been about six months so we'll see if I've gotten it by April. Just got my Star Walnut main kit (22/10/12/16) this week (still waiting on the 16" FT as it's on the truck according to FedEx).
