Bear in mind that I don't play drums for money, so if I play somewhere I bring all this:

If I don't know what will be expected of me, more than "we need you to come asap" and I have to cover more than one style of music, my bag will be filled with:
20" Paiste 2002 Ride
18" Paiste 2002 Flat Ride
20" Paiste 602 Thin Crash
18" Paiste Traditional Extra Thin Crash
16" Paiste 602 Thin Crash
14" Zildjian New Beat Hihats

All pre-serial 602s unless otherwise noted:

14" hi-hats
18"
10" splash
20" Sound Creation New Dimension Medium Dark Ride
16" Thin
18" Seven Sound Set 4 flat

I've only had the Sound Creation ride for about a week, but I think it already has gained the edge over my previous first choice of a "do it all" ride, a 21" pre-serial 602 Medium.
Your 10" splash is 602?

But my go-to stuff for enjoyment is a mix of Ks and Bosphorus.
14" Stanton Moore Fat Hats
19" Traditional crash
19" K Dark Thin crash ride
21" K Dark Thin SLP ride

Nice to see I still have all these 9 months later.

Upon reflection, I think I have to sort my preferred setup by its application.

Straight rock would probably be my old As:
14 or 15” hats
16 and 18” crashes
20” ride

Modern church worship sounds:
15” Bosphorus Traditional Dark hats
19” K Dark Thin c/r OR Bosphorus Trad crash
20” Cymbal Craftsman
22” Sabian HHX Complex thin OR 24” Istanbul Mehmet MC Jazz

Low volume setup:
14” old A thin hats
18” Bosphorus Master Vintage crash and/or 18” Bosphorus New Orleans crash
20” Bosphorus New Orleans ride OR 20” Istanbul Mehmet Origin Dark ride

I'm a minimalist player, so I don't bring much. Usually a set of hats and a ride. Sometimes a crash.

Whatever hi hats I have at the time. Usually something 15"
21" Bettis modded Sabian/Tosco, or 24" block stamp A Zildjian
If I bring a crash, it's one of these two:
18" small stamp A Zildjian, or 18" old stamp Turkish K

Since I’ve only done one gig with my own drums, I may not count ;). But they were…

Sabian AA Regular 14” hats
Sabian AA 16” thin crash of unknown model
Sabian 21” SR2 heavy ride that used to be an HHX of some sort
Diril 20” Trad ping ride that I only use as a crash

Since then I got a 20” Sabian AAX Studio Ride that I may use for a small setup since it rides and crashes well, unlike my other two rides. The SR2 rides great but crashes horribly, and the Diril is vice versa.

Since the beginning of the year, I’ve been running a minimalist rig of hats and one cymbal. Up until a couple of months ago, it was Giant Beats, but I felt like I was missing some midrange frequencies with them. I’m now using 602s instead of the Giant Beats, in smaller sizes. 15” SE hats and a 20” Medium (not Medium Ride) are my favorites right now and go with me to every gig.

14" K Con Hi Hats (old version)
18" K Con Crash
20" K Con High Bell Thin High w/ 3 rivets
20" K Con Bounce Over-hammered Sound Lab Prototype (probably my favourite single cymbal of the bunch!)
22" K Con Renaissance or 22" K Con Bounce (old version)

These can do it all, and every cymbal can be crashed and ridden. The Renaissance has a bit more trash and complexity than the Bounce, but the Bounce has a slightly clearer stick sound and a higher pitched bell, so I choose between the two as needed. For a quieter gig I'd go with my 22" K Con Light Ride (old version) with 4 rivets, but I'm not playing many of those these days. It doesn't quite cut enough to stand up to my usual gigs, but it's a beauty and deserves a proper night out when I get the right chance.

Also don’t gig. But might jam with a guitarist friend in the back of his brewery sometime, so I grabbed these out of storage to keep on hand.

15” Kerope
20” K Thin Crash
22” K Con Overhammered thin
22” K Con MTL

And I added some alternates in my bag as well, just in case.

15” K Custom Special Dry Hats
22” K Custom Special Dry Crash

I think he mainly plays classic rock or blues, and I figured there’s a chance of Jazz, so this setup should work for any of that.
