What kit is it and are they worth saving? They look beat up and need to be refinished. The guy wants $100?
Tell me what you think,

That's a good price for Rocker II's. I bought a set for $200, with the same dingy white finish.
Refinished them with something called Blue Metal from Precision, which has been discontinued. PITA to work with compared to standard drum wrap materials! I also replaced the metal bass hoops with some maple ones from Precision.
They are actually pretty decent sounding drums.

I recently bought a similar set, also for $100. I bought them for the daughter of some close friends of ours. We had given her a drum set several years ago and it was destroyed by a recent hurricane (they lived in Panama City, Florida). Anyway, when I cleaned them up and tuned them they sounded really good, even with old heads on them, to the point that I wondered if maybe I should keep them for myself. I didn't though, in fact they finally came to get the drums a couple of weeks ago. I got a big hug which made it all worthwhile and I hear she's loving them.

Well worth the hundred bucks if you have a need for such a set.

That's a good deal. Those rockers are I think 4 ply, bass may be 6. Maple poplar. I have a rewrapped Rocker snare shell. I put bow tie lugs and a p83 strainer on it. Looks like a jazz fest and sounds great. Those would look beautiful in a sparkle. Another two hundred dollars for some of Jammin SAMs JS Sparkle wrap and for about $350 including the $100 you would have something nice sounding and looking. Be gorgeous.

I don't think I'm gonna go for it as much as I want to. After thinking about it, I have no extra space to store another full kit and let alone any spare time for a rebuild. I see things like that and I just want to buy it. Sometimes I will but I'm gonna pass this time. If anybody is interested in them, they are in Central Florida. PM me and I can send you the link. I'd post it here but I don't have the link handy right now.

I have to grab that if was close enough. Rocker II was my first kit (I had the ones with Classic/mini-classic lugs) and still have it. Ive aquired and sold a few various Rocker kits (recent was an orphaned together 12/13/16/16x24.6,6x14 with the maple interiors...late 80s). The granitone ones are abundant, and low cost. I have at least a half dozen at this time, I just cant pass up Ludwig USA for dirt cheap. The white kit here is kinda odd sizes...or at least odd is the 13 is 6 lug and the 14 is 10 lug! Wouldnt/shouldnt it be 8 lugs? I know there were larger size kits, but I think this one was orig 5 pc (I didnt get snare with this, but it was such a good deal...the owner had a service call in my town (25 miles from him) so brought it right to me....$60! ...he listed for 50, but I didnt have change, and didnt care....60 bux, to my door! look at all those LUGS! :D

It's too far for me but if anyone grabs it, I'll pay them $75 to ship that snare to me in Cali.....
You really want that snare huh? I wish it was close to me and I would do it. But from where I am to the guys town it's not close. I infrequently pass thru there but if at any time I do, I will contact the guy and ask if he's willing to part with the snare. And if he says yes, I can get it and ship it to you. I just don't know when I will be thru there.
