Remind me the make and model of snare that has a thin sheet of copper or brass in between plies of wood?

Didn't GMS do that?
Or was theirs a layer of metal on the inside of a wood shell?

Not a whole segment of one shell material with two different whole segments at the batter and reso ends, but a contiguous shell of plies, where one ply is metal and the rest are wood.

Might have been GMS, I’ll look into that!

Looks like GMS made a snare line called Revolution which had metal sprayed onto the interior of a wood shell. But it was def the Pork Pie I was thinking of.

GMS Revolution Series is various metals applied similar to a paint on the surface of the inside of a drum.

This is mine. It has aluminum on both the inside and out.
