Like the post says - what stick do you wish a stick manufacturer would make ? Something new ? A Hybrid ? Different finish ? Longer ? Shorter ?

I wish Vic Firth would make the Peter Erskine Big Band stock in double glaze finish . I love the feel of this stick but really need the glossy lacquer finish of the double glaze . I have asked multiple dealers to inquire and Vic Firth keeps responding no .

One other for me - I wish Regal Tip still made the Noble and Cooley sticks - they were available in light , medium and heavy models all with the same taper and barrel tip - these morphed into the Bob Gatzen signature models .

+1 for the N&C/Bob Gatzen sticks. Those were perfect!

A slightly longer version of the now discontinued Promark MJZ-11. Also offering a nylon tip version with the same bead shape would be the icing on the cake!

It sure would be great if they made some Regal Tips
Also would be great if they made some Bopworks Birdlands too

Help! I am going to run out of usable sticks soon!

I wish Regal Tip would make sticks longer than 16". I'm looking for a 5b 16.5-17" long with the Regal Tip finish. I also wish they would stop discontinuing the models I like, but a 16.75" 5B would be great.

A longer Vic Firth Steve Gadd model, in the old version of the finish.

Also, no manufacturer has yet to approach me and offer a lucrative contract for an endorsement to make and aggressively market a CC Cirillo model.

([{...it’s okay. I can wait....}])

Oh, thats easy for me... a Regal Tip Nylon Tip JAZZ in 17" length... that was actually weight matched and straight. But I guess I'm just dreaming now! LOL

I'm not sure what the "Regal Tip finish" is as I've never played that brand, but Vic Firth has a few Extreme 5B's (16.5" long) in 3 different finishes: Double Glaze, "Puregrit" (natural), and their standard finish. Maybe one of those is close?

I love those Bopworks Birdland sticks, smaller and thinner than any sticks I've been able to find in brick and mortar shops. But they are being made, by Bopworks!
