Show off your most recent drum purchases here! :headbang:
Since we have a thread like this for cymbals, why don't we have one for drums and everything else drum related?

Here are my purchases/arrivals over the last 3 months:

Custom Pork Pie birch shell kit in blue sparkle wrap. Sizes are 20x14, 8x7, 10x7, 12x8, and 16x14. More pics to come later:

Gretsch 14x5 Hammered Brass snare:

And I scooped this one up last night. I had been lusting for a solid shell snare drum and the price dropped to the point where I couldn't say no.
Doc Sweeney 14x5.5 solid cherry snare drum:

Also picked up a few Ahead Armor snare cases

A year ago I sold a Nashville RK.

Almost a year to the day I had the chance to buy it back, so I did.

And the previous owner is incredibly meticulous - he had detailed the drum, had a recent head and bought another set of Slingerland stamped hoops. I got the drum back in better shape than when I sold it. Lucky me!

My Yamaha 8x14 Recording Custom snare. Love that thing! Oh and my set (14 hats/17 crash/16 Ozone/ 20 Ride) of Sabian Monarch cymbals for low volume situations.

Great choice. I have the mid-1980s version of that snare, in piano black lacquer. Bought it a long time ago, used, for super cheap. People didn't know/care what they had back then. Good luck with it!

Very curious — what's life like with a 23" kick? I own 22"s and 24"s, but am wondering what the space in between is all about. Also, are odd-size heads (I see you also have a 15") easy to find?

Cool idea, I always enjoy reading the cymbal version so I know I will have fun watching this one as well!

Here is my latest snare, (I will post my latest kit tomorrow) a George Way 6.5”X14” Hollywood COB with a one off patina finish....

Ludwig Classic Birch 10/12/14/22 with 5x14 matching snare:

Also a natural finish Classic Birch 16x16 that I’m going to stain to match. The kit came with two 700 Series boom stands and a 900 series snare and tom stand. I bought a set of H&B Galaxy bags for it and a Rocker single Tom mount when I want to go one up/two down.
