I think you have seen Gary's Posey photos from Summit but not the photos in real at my place, last snare coming from him:
14X6.25" PURPLEHEART WITH BRASS HW AND 5 POSITION BUT+MAGNETIC DW THROW OFF (Great one by the way, super easy to go from a very sloppy tension to a tight one in 5 perfect incremental!)

Is that a stain, or the natural wood color?

No no, natural wood color, brought up by the process, sanding and oil hand made layers. On the next photo, with the Purpleheart with black hardware, the Summit is the same board so, same color or super close to it but under it, there is an AVA which is Mahogany Purple Stain.

Well, I have thought about it for a long time, thinking it might be the best extra crash to go with my Paiste Signature Dark Energy Crashes 15 (Yes, 15", small crack cut by a pro from 16 to 5") and 19" and the sound formula frankenstein Logo 16"...The Signature Full Crash 18". I listen to a lot of sample and finally, at asked for one to come at my store. They have in June a 12 months free interest I could use to buy it but th eprice is not crazy high at 475 CAN$...

Great, good to know, tanks. The first cymbals were easy to choose for me, even if i was going to the store and compared with the ones that I had but now, I really need to pay attention to not get a lemon, at least a cymbal that doesn't fit with what I have. For now, I'm good so, thanks for the comments, it reassure me about my choice.

I sold a kit a few months ago, so I've been on a bit of a tear:

Stellar purpleheart hoops (on my 7 x 14 Summit Mahogany)

Honest Abe 6 x 14 Thick Copper

Ebenor 4 x 14 Heavy Feather Aluminum

Super happy with all of them!

Being in Canada, I should try the Ebenor, they have a good reputation on this forum and always happy to buy "Local"...Ok, 2500 km far away, not sure I could consider it "Local"? Well, locally in Canada we should say. Anyway, great choices.

Ok, last one, thanks for Scooter 540 on DFO, he likes to try snare and after a while, when he thinks it was not what he was looking for, he sells them at a good price, I'm already at 4 with him, a Summit Purpleheart with Black hardware, An AVA Walnut, a Sonique snare and this one, my first Bronze, whooo, surprising low...Eneve at D3 sharp so, super low, it was good. No, in fact, 5, I think I got my AVA Purple Stain Gloss Mahogany from him too?
Ok, he had put a large Evans red dampening gel on it and it was tuned almost at F3 but I like my snares a bit higher so I started to tune it at E, I have only one snare at E3, the Summit 14X8 Beech/Mahogany/Beech but this one, even in 6.5" depth could be at ease that low...and I still have the ping that gives it character to be recognized in the highest notes, I like it a lot. I understand now why people says "Bronze" in my thread about thick 5/3/5 mm Bell snares, either being brass or bronze or copper. the bronze is really great.
And the look of the hardware is a really success for INDé too.

New (to me) 1966 Slingerland set. Sizes 13/16/20, I would grade them at 8/10 condition. All original lugs, tension rods, hoops, legs spurs. I've changed to new Evans G12 heads, and added a RIMS mount to the 13" tom. I already had the DW hardware, Sabian AAX Studio cymbals, and a Gretsch Brooklyn snare drum.

Yes,
Please post some videos of you playing some of your drums so we can hear how they sound
that's my plan, to do a small video of 2/3 mn to post them here as some others have suggested (I was surprised about that because there is so many guys who have been collecting snares for such a long time, I was not sure it could interested some people), it's just that, to my biggest surprise, I was able to find nice people who want to invest time to restart the Funk/Dance band when I thought that a lot of musicians were "damaged" on the long run by Covid...in fact, it's other kind of musicians so, time for me is short to practice again the songs we play and organizing the band and trying to set up again the website etc...
But definitely, maybe this summer, if we have a break, i will do that when my wife will be in vacation.
