It was $250, he was really great to work with. He does have a bit of a line, though. The whole thing took about two months.

Bought this 60’s Ludwig 16” floor tom a while back. Added it to my more modern Classic Maple Ringo kit though it does sound very different from the classic maples.
Might sell this in the future. We’ll see.

It ain't much but I'm trying out an Emperor X on the ol' A&F raw aluminum... Not the match up snare /head you'd naturally expect. But curiously this little 6 lugger sounds great for heavily muffled and processed tones wich the Emperor X might help me achieve more easily... So far it seems to lean in the right direction, it sounds a bit crushed-808 without any compression on at all, so we're gonna be in Ash Soan/Sterloid territory when I'm done...7

I’m the second owner. Original owner bought new ‘62
It was his instrument in Senior High school was put away at his parents house in Northern South Carolina where is sat for over 55 yrs was recently rediscovered when cleaning out the attic after both parents had passed.
That cloth bag really did it’s job!

It was too good of a deal to pass up! last owner bought to record a album and they ended up using another dummer. I fell in love with them immediately. 13,16, 24. Insane base; and, that wrap… love it! I was able to donate my old kit that I fixed up (my first kit) to a school that is starting a music program. I feel good that kids will get to bang away, drive teachers nuts and have fun with it!

I bought a SLP spotted Gum snare (for the good reviews from some members here!) and got a nice deal for a remo 6-8-10 rototoms for my practice kit, these days they'll arrive, I cant wait!!

Are you positive that they aren't the original hopes?
I had an Imperialstar King Beat and it had die-cast hoops. Always thought they were original, but I could be wrong.

These are newer, the bottom hoops have the gates. These are probably Tama or Gibraltar.
