I was assessing my marketable possessions and realized that apart from the house, my drum gear was high in my own list...

1: Car
2: Drum gear
3: iMac Computer
4: Personal jewelry (watches etc)
4: iPhone

I guess some collectors would have drum gear ahead of anything else .....

Of my material possessions, my drum gear is more important to me than probably anything else. I try not to become too attached to things because, well...they’re just things. But, I’m a drummer, so that is impossible.

You didn’t specify monetary value or personal value.

More importantly: exactly how valuable, where are they stored, and what are your normal working hours?

I like your list but I'd say iPhone and then jewelry. I'm not much of a jewelry type person. Plus I added one. Then there's family and pets...first or last? Hum...LOL

1: TRUCK
2: Drum gear
3: RC Airplanes
4: Computer
5: iPhone
6: Personal jewelry (watches etc)

I'm really not materialistic, my junk truly is ugly but I'm content and happy. My mind is frugal, I want to get value and service out of what I have, not buy something because I need or just want it. I get satisfaction out of making something out of little or nothing.

Having said that I don't know what I have that I value the most outside of family, I'm referring to material things. My truck is 10yrs old and I don't ever want to get another vehicle. ATV is 5yrs old and in great shape and I just bought one for my son, same ATV basically. It's not the ATV but the riding that matters more to me and both of us are itching to get out, badly. Dreaming of turfing up the desert scrub.

Computers, phones, TV's - all a PITA.

Drums... I like my Roadshow kit because I've been working it and made it a really decent kit. Frugal, I'd play it anywhere. My other kit, Decade - it's really nice now and I love playing it but if it got ruined somehow, water damage or whatever I'd just get something else. Because it's not the kit for me so much but that I like playing.
