A friend of mine just picked this up. I dug around Google discovered that:
"Barth-Feinberg was a musical instrument distributor in New York from as early as 1939 through the 1960s. They were located at 17-19 Union Square, New York 3, New York. Barth-Feinberg was purchased by Pickwick in 1967"
It's easy to find both pics of Barth-Feinberg and Kent "Musketeer" stencil MIJ drums, but this is obviously an older drum. Is it made by Kent in NY? Imported from elsewhere? Thoughts? The hoops look Premier-ish to me.

I was just going to say the lugs look like Rocket-style.......not sure if they are exactly Rocket lugs......does a magnet stick to the shell (ie: COB)?

if i recall correctly the Rocket Lug was available on a few makers drums even though Gretsch is most known for them.
I don't think W/A made them for them though many older w/a's have them....that shell looks a little slingerlandish to me.
