I had only one set of A Zildjians from the late 70's until around 2009 or 10 and then I got a set of Paiste 2002's which are just a little different flavor of the same thing. In fact the A 18" and the 2002 18" sound very similar.
  1. 15" A Quick Beat Hats
  2. 16" A Rock Crash
  3. 18" A Rock Crash
  4. 20" A Crash/Ride with the loudest bell ever
  5. 24" A Medium Ride which is a more recent purchase
  6. 17" A Thin Crash
  7. 15" 2002 Sound Edge Hats
  8. 17" 2002 Crash
  9. 18" 2002 Crash
  10. 20" 2002 Crash
  11. 24" 2002 Ride [I did have a 24" 2002 Reverand Al's Big Ride but it was just a little too washy]

Hats, crash, ride, splash, etc.
Only one set that has worked for you for pretty much anything. What are the cymbals in the set, size etc.
OR if you could pick one set from the library of the cymbals you have.
For me, my Armands work well, maybe just missing a good dry pingy ride.
I don't have one set, I have a mish mash of makes and styles.
