Hey there folks!

I will be re-wrapping my Rogers Fullerton 9/72's in the next couple of weeks in the ever gorgeous Turquoise Glass Glitter with Mirror Chrome inlays on the bass hoops. I have seen the product, 3M NF30 tossed around a lot, but it doesn't seem to be available at any of our major hardware stores like Home Depot, Lowes, Rona here in Canada. They carry a range of Lepage products, which seem to be an equivalent.

I'm curious if there are any advantages or disadvantages to using water borne vs solvent based. Can a solvent based contact cement damage the glass glitter wrap in any way? Application, venting, breathing is no concern, I have proper ventilation in the area I will be applying the wrap. Temperatures will be controlled as well. The glue that was on the shells from the factory "New Mahogany" wrap has been completely stripped away using a wonderful product called, "Goof Off"

I have tried the goof off but with no luck!
What's the secret?
Precision told me to use the Weldwood "original " red can for the pearl. Bought some at Lowes.
