Looking for a reissue 14” NOS or lightly used coated vintage ambassador or emperor with old logo shown below. This is the modern/reissue version of “vintage ambassador” before Zildjian recently switched to the regular logo for this as well but keeping the “vintage ambassador” name.

Obi Wan says, "that's not the logo you're looking for"
(that's a current model, the Vintage Ambassador)
edit: or did they change that model's logo? now I'm confused!

here's a timeline of old logos, are any of these what you're looking for?

This was the logo when the modern “vintage” line first came out a couple years ago but the current logo is just the regular logo (last one) and the lettering says “vintage”. They changed it.
Looking for the second one, the modern version of course. The third one is the classic line that is made to fit vintage drums that need a little bit of oversized head (i.e Gretsch Round badge).

so, you are looking for a modern "Vintage Ambassador" model head (like in your photo on the first post), and not a "vintage" Ambassador (i.e. an actual old head from decades ago, like the first 2 logos in the chart I posted)...right?

Remo made things confusing with that naming convention, or maybe I'm just easily confused!

Correct, the reissue. I am not looking for a head from decades ago.

The reissue when came out had the vintage logo just like my picture (which is my 10” tom) but Zildjian changed it to the regular one but still calls it “vintage”.

@Sinclair I know the mahogany finish Pioneer snare I sold you had this vintage ambassador head on it. If you like it and use it, good. If it’s just laying around, I would take if off your hands and pay for it if you don’t want it. Just let me know please.

I don't think it's on another drum. I'll see if I can find it.

@Jazzhead So far no luck. I usually don't throw out old heads unless they're dented. I still have my set of blue hydraulics from the 80's.
I'll keep looking and let ya know if they it shows up.
Good luck.

Thanks for checking. Please let me know if you come across it, not sure even if you used that head on the pioneer or swapped it right away since it’s a two-ply head, people usually use a single ply coated ambassador on snares. Anyway, hopefully I will hear back from you.
