WTB 1970's Slingerland 3 ply drums in Blue Sparkle

Acquired a very clean 1975/76 16x16 Blue Sparkle floor tom- now attempting to find a matching bass drum (20/22/24) and a mounted tom or 2 (12/13/14). Would consider concert toms as well.

Trying for late 3 ply era serial number range, but will consider almost anything with a black/silver Niles badge. PM if you have anything.

I truly wish you luck, you would think that finish shouldn’t be too hard to find, but I have had the worst time trying to build sets around orphans in the past so I hope you have great luck!

It can be frustrating. It took me almost 6 years of constant looking to find an 8x12 Club Date in Psychedelic Red- then I got 2! Earlier this year I found a 16x16 Light Blue Pearl Slingerland floor tom- found the matching 20/13 within 25 miles of my job 2 days later- it certainly is a real roll of the dice. But that is part of the fun.

Hawthorne Drum Shop has a 60's 16x16 in blue sparkle for sale- that would at least match that bass better than my later drum.

I have a Slingerland blue sparkle1970's black and silver badge 9x13. It's double headed. 5ply shell bottom hoop and tension rods missing. Has the Set o matic mount and on another panel has a Ludwig mount.

Some Slingerland blue is nice and royal, others are super dark which I really prefer. Good luck finding matching ones...
