Looking for a kick drum leg for my 1988 Yamaha recording custom 20x16. Need a left left as mine is bent from a previous owner.

Thanks!

AKA: Bass drum spur! :)

I might have one for you. Do you need the entire assembly from the wing nut down or just the smaller telescoping section?

I think the whole part just to be safe. And yes bass drum spur! Lol. Pm me a price if you do have one. Thank you!

those should be available if you want to buy new ( I'm pretty sure I see them on ebay every so often)

Yamaha does have these parts in stock, but a little much for me right now. If anyone has a used one, please let me know still!

If not I'll eventually replace it with new. Thanks!

I'm gonna try. The kick comes in tomorrow. Apparently the new ones don't fit the old kicks.

Yeah. Not exactly sure what's different from the new ones and the old, but $75 is a bit much right now when really the only thing wrong is it's crooked.

The guy I got it from tucks the legs in for transport because right now when you fold the leg it rubs against the shell.

I can deal with that temporarily until a cheaper one hopefully pops up.

I think a quick fix is a thick sock over the tucked leg, or a small thick towel between the leg & the shell, or some foam or something to protect the shell.....

So here is the kick! Absolutely love having this drum to complete my kit. The leg that's bent is shown....Not a huge deal but my ocd is kicking in and it's annoying looking to me. You can tell it's not even. It'll work for now but will definitely be replacing it!

So it looks to me like a newer spur will work, just not the attachment to the kick as they have new hole spacing.

So if anyone has just a regular left side spur, please let me know.
