Looking for any leads on a 12x8 or 10x7 Sakae Almighty Birch toms. Prefer Real Black color, but could be interested in any color and I'll refinish it.

Any leads would be appreciated and I already checked with Drum Center of Portsmouth and they don't have any orphans in those sizes.

TIA

I think your best alternative to having Sakae build you them at a mighty cost is to try and obtain Yamaha's Birch Absolute Custom orphan drums that pop up once in a while on Craig's list or on Ebay. Sakae was the maker of Yamaha's upper tier drum shells. Refinishing one of those high-end drums can be a real chore. Good luck!

Try keeping an eye on the Sakae drums at Drum Center of Portsmouth. They have a bunch of orphan drums at discounted prices.

I have a 12x8 in Real Black, but would only really be interested in trading for a 13x9. I’m also in the UK so it may be expensive to ship

Just saw (on-line) both 10" or 12" Almighty Birch Black available at this shop in UK. DCP also has 13" and 14".
