Selling a very nice pair of thin, vintage hi-hats consisting of a 50s/60s era Italian made Zenjian top hat weighing 670g and a 60s era Zildjian bottom hat weighing 720g. The thin weights give a dark sound that sits well in the mix. The top hat has some nicks and dings but no cracks and the bell...
Edward..just noticed the word Mint in your add.
I think that is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
There are no modern paper thin hats in mass production...so you have to look for vintage . Paper thin was rare in the 1960s...
To find mint condition 1950s hats...whew..next to impossible..
These are sweet though...i hope you dont mind dirty and played in
Hey Edward, if you have any interest in Cymbal & Gong, scroll through my old videos and see if their character agrees with you. They're generally 50s K style, with a few 602-like brighter models. I don't have any 13s in stock, but I could go to their warehouse (ware-basement, actually) and see what they have available. 13" hats would go for $350.00, new.
