I collect and research vintage practice pads. This is the focus of my drum collecting, since I grew up playing a pad until I got my first drum in high school.
I love practice pads and have researched their development going as far back as the Bower {Practice Drum in 1920!
I also have a blog where I post my research to share (https://drumlove1.blogspot.com/)
I am always looking for old p[ractice pads that could use a new, appreciative home.
Open to almost anything but especially interested in pads 1960 or earlier.
Thanks and happy drumming!

Collector of the same here as well. Glad I'm not alone. Good luck to you.

Bart vanderzee from the drumhistory podcast posted a little while back that he was doing a podcast on drumpads and was looking for information. You might want to look for that post and chime in if you haven’t already.
