Y cable for SXPro HH support?

I am going to acquire an VH10 hihat trigger to use with an SXPro. I assume I need to use a Y cable for the HH Crt input on the SXPro.

Is this correct?

The reason I ask in that the standard, non-HH inputs say 1/2, 3/4 etc, indicating that a Y cable is needed, but the HH Crt does not.

Thanks

No y cable is needed, just a regular TRS cable. The other inputs allow you to split if desired, but even there it’s not necessary, only an option.

It has been a while since I used a roland HiHat, but I think there is a cable out from the cymbal and a cable from the bottom closed trigger piece, so thats two cables yet there is only one HHCrt input on the SXPro. I am confused.

One will go into a standard trigger input, and one will go into the HH ctrl input. The hh ctrl only tracks open / closed position of the pedal, while the cymbal signal itself is just a standard trigger.
