I wonder how hard it would be to paint it orange swirl? LOLI, for one, hope and pray Yamaha never brings the CCs back. After everything I went through to get a set of them, I want them to be as desirable/collectible as possible!
Btw, if anyone happens to be looking for a 10” tom in Black Wood, I’ve got one. Or better yet, if anyone has any orphans in Dark Wood, hit me up.
Well...bad timing for pics, but since Ryan threatened my groin with a nut punch, I’d better post pics...Here are my black swirlHopefully cwulf (Chris) will chime in with his monster rig of Black Swirl CC’s!
Yep- they are extremely versatile! If the buyer ever wants to get rid of that 13...I’d pay a nice price! I know...I’m dreaming.I owned a shell bank of swirl black CCs 20/24” bass drums , 10”/12”/13” rack toms and 14” and 16” floor toms and matching snare .
I also had a Swirl Aorangi Bop kit 18/12/14 .
By far my favourite Yamaha drums and even includes the Yamaha PHX kit I owned a while back . The CC are so easy to dial in and they can doFat or tuned up equally well .
That is a beautiful kit my friend. I am not looking into buying anything now, but THIS pic tempts me. Rock on.
I'm with you. I always am on the lookout for a 13" for all of my kits that don't have one. I don't mind 12"s, but to me, the optimal rock kit setup is a 22/13/16.I got my eye out for you orange swirl guys, too! Good luck to us all! That said, I got my 12 where I want it and my 12,16,18 set up sounds great. ...still want a 13! Ha!
