You can only have one choice. Right now, which is your favorite kit you own?

That’s a tough one.
I’m attached to all 3 of my special kits, they were sought after for a while, except the Pearl.

If it were to sell or starve I’d probably keep my Pearl Session Studio Select.

If I were to sit on my trove, the birds would stay -
I’d keep my Rogers Holiday.

If my house were on fire, I’d die of inhalation (with my kid gloves on) politely dragging my Luddies out, but then nothing would get saved.

Y’all can see why.

I had a DW Collectors kit. It was beautiful and a work of art. I needed money when my wife lost her job and had to sell it under financial hardship. Someday I'll be able to afford a DW Collector series drumkit
Respect bro.
A lot of times on life the right thing it’s not the easy thing, but it is still the right thing to do. I collected seven Johnson’s course of 18 months during the lockdown. People were hurting I was happy to help them. Now I keep them all in their own cases i don’t play any of them. Perhaps out of a sub conscientious respect for the sacrifices people made just to get by. I don’t know.

For once this is easy to answer, since I only own two kits.
Favorite is my pieced-together vintage Ludwig Oyster Blue Pearl kit.
Combination of 1960's Original and 1970's Bowling Ball wraps.
Currently gigging as a 14-16 floor-22.
Snare would be one of my Craviotto snare drums.

I'd have to go with my Ludwig Oyster Blue Pearl kit as well. The finish is immaculate and at times stops me in my tracks. The 12x22 bass drum also is unique - just don't see many of those around. The sound - it's got the big, boomy, full of tone resonance I love.

For a snare...that's tough! Either my Brady Jarrah block - a very unique tone and getting harder to find...or my '58 WFL Oyster Blue Pearl 5.5x14 SuperClassic snare. I've got several WFL 5.5 and 6.5 Pioneers that sound very nice as well - hard to choose!
