Hi all! Did you get any drum-related items for Christmas? Show them off here! I'll start...

Here's what my girlfriend gave me... A drum pillow and two "sleeping" T-shirts.

-Mark
That last one would not be a great gift for a guy named Tom

Drum related? Well, sort of…. My wife surprised me with a Cricut Maker 3. Until a few weeks ago I never paid much attention to them until I discovered that they aren’t just for crafting. Already using it to restore Paiste 2002 logos from the 70s.

Expanding my drum set vocabulary a bit. Never played with a cowbell before. (But somebody said, "more cowbell," so I figured I'd give it a try. lol)

My kids gave me these:

Yeah, buddy! I also have a pedal with a high-pitched cowbell next to my left cable-hat and a pedal with a low-pitched cowbell next to my right cable-hat.

Oh, and do you have the Starphonic Bubinga? That's my favorite snare. Curious how it would compare to the Star Bubinga...

No I don’t have it. Being a similar shell design (8 ply 7mm) as the Starclassic Bubinga I’d imagine it being closer to the Starclassic than the Star (5 ply 4.5mm + 9mm re-rings).

Some new sticks that were sorely needed. New drum heads for a 12” tom that were sorely needed. Some decent over the ear headphones for recording…and it wasn’t an Xmas gift but my wife ordered me a 14” Paiste pstx swiss stack thing because I got an A in my physics class this fall semester after not having been in school for over a decade and never taken any trig
