Hey Laz! Your room looks great! Is that a homemade amp I see on the right?

Showing are "drum rooms" is always a popular thread that comes up from time to time. Still, we all love to show off our rooms, so here's mine!

I rotate the sets that I set up and this doesn't show my current kit on display...my 1970 Slingerland Modern Solo in original Sparkling Purple Pearl!

Nice set-up and wow does that purple Slingerland bring back memories. I remember seeing one and wanting it in Nodar Rhodes Manhattan Drum Shop way back in the day.

My drum room is a work in progress, but it's getting there. I actually have a couple of rooms... and an office. Please excuse the mess.

This is the main area downstairs. Four kits set-up. Main Drum Room is through that door.

I had a drum room before we moved. We have plans to do an addition, which will include an office, basement, etc. A couple of good options for a drum room. Until then, my drums are in a closet...and the china cabinet. They're worth more than the china, so why not?

Four of the prettiest drums go in the china cabinet, for now.

You mind if I show the pics of your snares in the china cabinet to my wife? I’m kind of wondering what she’ll say...

Looks very cool actually!

I am real jealous of a lot of these drum rooms! Really, very nice stuff guys. Unfortunately for me, I’m not a homeowner yet, so no whole room for drums :(. I’m relegated to a booth for now that takes up most of my bedroom...

Wow, that's quite a large kit for a booth in your bedroom. But you obviously make it work for you!

When my wife and I got our first house, my father-in-law helped me set up a drum room. He was in the carpet business, so he had carpet scraps that we covered the floor, walls and ceiling in.

Fast forward many years, and in our current house I hired a friend to build a drum room in the basement with as much sound deadening as possible, and then my wife and I covered every inch in carpet. It's not as big as the drum room I had many years ago, but I have enough room to set up my three sets and my snare drum rack. And I can drum all hours and not bother the neighbors, or the wife!
