These were also called "cymbal snaps" at one time. I think that Camber still makes these (or did make these. Does anyone know if Camber is still in business?). Still, that's wild: an $85 wingnut.

I still use those Cymbal Snaps for my splashes.
Bought 'em in the late 70's.

Holy moly, $86. I guess these vintage "Zil Snaps" are better than other wingnuts at holding the cymbal on the stand. :rolleyes:

I have to admit it does look cool, but $86 for a wingnut with scratches is hard to fathom.

Wow my first Silver Sparkle Hollywood kit [used] had those on every stand. I thought that they were so cool then. . . WHO KNEW? ? ? :dontknow:

I have only one of those,the rest are T tops.I had more of those back in the 70's.Prblm was the pin that holds the swivel tab gets loose.Once that happens,it pops out completely & the tab comes off.So , beware of losing the pin & possibly a home made repair job.
