I wasn’t really looking for trades, as I need $$ for another project, but I might consider a Ludwig maple 3 ply project kit.

Thanks for your interest.
HELLO....Would you consider dealing that snare drum by itself?...I have a 70,s COS Oly in VG condition, I could give you and a few bucks?...Its a powerhouse, but I have 2 of them.

Hi Murat,

I'm curious if that Slingerland Buddy Rich kit in your shop is the one RickP bought at the Chicago Drum Show a year or two ago? I assume it is since he's a regular at your place and there are so few of those kits around. If so, give him my best. I miss his presence on DFO and am curious what he's moving up to in terms of a new kit.

It sure is the same one Doug. I will tell him you said hi !
Hey, I just purchased a set of Phonics, anniversary badge, 13, 14, 16, 22, black. I'm truly excited, been a bucket list item for me. I know you've been around the block a time or two with drums and wanted your opinion....hopefully they will be way versatile and the best of all worlds...thanks for your time...

cheers and blessings, Trey

Phonics are great drums that will last forever. They'll take all sorts of head options and sound good with all of them. Enjoy your drums!
Hi Kurt, I very recently sold this kit. I'm sick over it. I was attempting to reduce my holdings, but should have never sold this kit. I'm sure you've experienced this feeling.
Rob
There is an RBS kit on Craigslist. It's in Decatur, Illinois.

It was listed on April 6. I know nothing more than that.
Hi, what are you planning on asking for those WMP's ?

Hi Rob,

I was thinking about listing it for $2000 OBO for all 4 drums, snare and hi-hat stands, cymbal L-arm, and an extra, unused Maxwell rail consolette. There is a WMP kit with a $1550 bid on eBay right now, and it's not as nice as mine and doesn't include the Jazz Fest.

Let me know if you need more info or want to see more pics.

Thanks,
Paul
How'd you do on your Murat Diril hunt? I use MD's and really like them but they are very hard to find.
Which of your thick metal drums do you find the driest? And which is your favourite?
Sorry for the barrage of questions and double post! Character limits are tiny on here......

The driest is the N&C alloy classic, followed by the Tama bell brass. Both are almost be too dry if the tuning isn’t perfect. You can try me on the private messages for longer posts! I love talking this stuff.
Hello mate,
I too absolutely adore thick metal shells and have a Duluth Treebronze 6.5 x 14 with Sonor Hella hoops on it and a Lars Ulrich Bell Brass. Needless to say, the Duluth is far and away the winner. I do find sometimes it can be slightly ringy (I run an Evans Heavyweight with Steel Puresound Custom 24's) and I was curious as to what you are running?

I have an Evans powercenter reverse dot over an Aquarian classic clear. I love that combo. The Duluth is absolutely the winner! I have pearl ultrasound “C” type 20 strands on now.
