Stuck bearings in pedal posts

Good afternoon everyone! I'm cleaning up a late-80s Tama pedal with a strap drive and want to replace the bearings. However, both bearings are stuck in the posts. Does anyone know how to remove them? Any tool recommendations? Thanks.

Try soaking them with some 3 in 1 oil or a penetrating oil and they should come loose. Then you can replace them with standard skateboard bearings.

Make sure yours isn’t a model with small set-screws holding them in to the upright.
