Didn't care for the wrap at first, but, it's growing on me, especially with some of the close-up pics.

So @Houndog i am curious, are you drilling the shell for hardware or was it already drilled? I want to do some of my own work but it is a bit intimidating. Then again, when I was a teenager way back before the internet and all the how-to videos I didn’t give a second thought to drilling my new Ludwigs for a mix of Roger’s Memory Lock and Tama hardware. With an electric hand drill no less.
I had it wrapped and edged and had snare beds cut in by a pro .
I did all the drilling . Measure 6 times !
A lay out mat is a must .

I drilled holes in a brand new DW bass drum years ago , they didn’t drill the holes for the woofer mount ……
I drilled holes in a nice GMS Floor tom to put legs on it …
