i was lucky enough to know Hal Blaine and Mickey Jones before they passed. I got into a discussion with Mickey Jones one day and asked him if 16” high hats were used during the 60’s and he said yes. Whatever happened to Mickey"s black oyster kit?
I saw him with it in October 1964 with Johnny Rivers and I know he used it with Mister Dylan the next year.
