I searched that lug yesterday and today I got a discounted offer from the seller, so you may be able to get that one for a slight discount, though $25 for one Tama lug seems like a lot to pay. I'd wait until you've inspected and cleaned the whole set...you may need more than one.

I also got a discounted offer and forgot to use it. Ugh! I actually have gotten both drums finished now. The 12" concert tom went back together without any problems. The 10" is put back together as well, except for the one missing lug. So far, so good.

I already pushed the button. He charged me $20 for the lug...$10 for shipping. They always get you with the shipping, as we all know it doesn't cost $10 to ship a tiny metal lug. Everybody's gotta make a living I suppose...

Matt sent me an offer for the same one lug....and I didn't even ask about it.........$18 + $7.50 shipping.
Matt taking you for a ride. You should have him refund the difference. I didn't even inquire on the item....and you did, as a live customer. You should have received
better treatment from him than one of us who just happened to "watch" the item for future reference. You did put the Ebay lug listing on "watch" didn't you?
It never hurts to "watch" an item. Maybe we stirred up some "unintended" interest for Matt as he 26 views on this item in the past 24 hrs......so lower the price a bit & sell a bunch.
Matt probably thought he hit the Mother Lode. He has at least 10 more lugs available.

The item was not on my watch list. I think Ebay has a way for the seller to know how many folks are coming in to look at an item though. He sent me the $18 offer as well, and I forgot to take advantage of it...wasn't thinking. He's just being a typical businessman...trying to scrounge up as much money as he can. I needed the part. He had it...and me by the balls. It is what it is. He will hear from me again if there's an issue with the part when I get it though, but I think it'll be okay...I hope, LOL. We'll see.

Haven’t done this particular lug but looks like you would pull the white plastic clip straight out( needle nose pliers) swivel nut should drop out

You can also "cheat" by getting a long screw and slowly force it into the space left from where the furrele was.
i know there are PAGES and pages in this thread now, but in case anyone poopoo'd this idea, i've done it many times...both with tama lugs and yamaha 7000 lugs...you ideally wanna tap the remaining amount of hole, but the 'muscle it in' method works just as well :p

I was going to say thread a tension rod in there and give a little wiggle your not going to break it’s steel , much stronger than the cast pot metal lug
