Before becoming an actor, Jason Schwartzman played drums for the band Phantom Planet. His drumming on the first two albums is incredible.

I worked on location with John Stamos some years ago. I so wanted to talk drums with him, but he seemed unapproachable and kinda crazy, talking to himself all the time. Then I realized he was just rehearsing his lines and getting into character... DOH!

interesting. Very versatile person covering all the parts. Lays down a nice linear groove in part of the song. thanks for sharing it. -D

yes ! he really plays the drums and played this solo according to the music store owner thats down the street from me where this scene was filmed.

Haha I never knew Radar was a drummer. Must have missed this episode. He's got some chops... Classic!
 
Craig Ferguson was a drummer for the Dreamboys, which featured “Doctor Who’s” Peter Capaldi on guitar and vocals.
