I really don't get the reasoning behind having two cymbal stands near the batter hoop… cowbell? Woodblock. Looks like a porky-U-Pine! That's a lot of drilling in that beautiful shell. I do dig the Rogers hardware - a bit over-kill on the bass however.
I think that considering the time that it was build that he wanted everything mounted to the bass.
The mount to the left of the seated drummer is obviously for the rack tom. The next on over (center) is for a splash which was very popular at the time, and the one closest to the drummer in the back is for a cow bell. I kind of get it.

Jerry,

I'm going to second (and paraphrase) what someone else said. Forget clowns like this. You are the Blaemire of today and you've poured heart, soul, and expertise into building modern Blaemire and Jenkins-Martin drums. Anyone in the know realizes you're the real thing. Were I in the market for Blaemire drums presently, I'd come to you. Why go anywhere else when you and your company are building the natural, updated extension of the original. That eBay seller is on crack. Just ignore them.

Hey Jerry,

I honestly think that anyone that would know to look at Blaemires would know some of the history, would do some research, to even consider spending 6k. And this gets me to think that he is almost doing free advertising for your company, as those not in the know would then Google your name on the mention of JM. This is where ballpark pricing on your site would dispel his wacky $$$ numbers . IMHO
We are all rooting for you and your company, Jerry !! ;-)

Oh my. Couldn't someone probably buy one of Hal's sets for that??? Or in that ballpark? A set that from a collectors stand point at least some musical/recorded history. This set is just... a set. Whether Allan played it not is neither here nor there - he's known as a builder, not a player. And with fiberglass, unlike wood, I don't think age plays into it at all. A 40 year set of Camcos or Ludwigs are now made from 40 year old - which will in some ways be different than younger wood. But fiberglass? Won't it stay nearly the same... decades and decades.

Anyway - pretty remarkably silly.

Thanks, I did not catch that. ;-)

Of all the sets I've owned, only one was purchased new. I'm with stickchopper. If I ever buy a new kit, it will be Jenkins-Martin.

Ok is it me or did he just move the price to 20,000? When this post started they were 6k right? For three drums. Jeeeez

I mean great drums but he's way off the mark like drum jinx already said. For get this guy jerry seriously, he's putting bad karma out and obviously is just a greedy ebay seller. Forget him, not even worth the time.

This guy is a dishonest hack, who's just a greddy liar....and smokes rubber bands to boot.Oh well, proof positive you can't polish a turd.

I actually like the look of the kit with the Rogers hardware and the wood hoops against the natural Blaemire shells but Lol at that price. There have been some kits outrageously priced like this that sit on ebay for years.

And to echo what some of you posted earlier - the one kit that has been on my radar for a while is a Jenkins Martin. I can't justify it right now but hopefully at some point.
