Hi guys, I tried my best to get some good shots of Bun's new Legacy, but most of the venue security people are nazis....they have to be, so it's understandable. I am posting these on a separate thread for Bun.

He is touring and doesn't have his laptop w/him so, I'm am volunteering to post some pics for him. Please excuse the graininess.....I had to sneak the camera in to begin with....I did, however: already have permission from Bun to take any shots I could get. He wanted to let you all see it. I am trying to teach him how to post pictures, but if I do....it'll put me out of a job! :D

The kit sounds phenomenal! It's 13, 16, 24. It's breathy and has that killer wood sound that only three ply can deliver. The snare had great crack and a woody smack that is incredible. :notworthy:

I played a Bubinga veneer Legacy @ NAMM and I fell in love with the snare...I can only bet Bun's matching Legacy snare is just a sweet to play.

They should make it the Bun E. Carlos model.....I'd vote for that! ~Kat

Awesome, Kat! Thank you for being our secret agent.

Are these the same ones we saw at Chicago?

I'm not sure, the ones @ Chicago were a different configuration as far as I know 22" bass drum. Bun's is 24" I think he had his Legacy special ordered. You'd have to ask Todwig the details about this kit.

I'm really diggin' this kit. He sits so high, it makes that 24" look tiny. :D Can't wait to hear it tomorrow night!

nice! thanks for the legwork...any idea what kind of snare? Legacy series also?

Thanks for the pic's, and no need to apologize for the quality (for someone that actually should apologize, check out the pictures that I've posted!). That is a beautiful little kit. One of these days, maybe....

Nice shots of a kool set of drums. With any luck I catch him in Concord Ca.Love demGreen drums!!

Bun's kit looks great! My dream kit is a green sparkle Legacy Classic (8x12, 14x14, 16x16, 14x22) with large classic lugs and curved BD spurs. Thanks for the pics, Kat!

Yes! It's a Legacy. I bet it has only 8 lugs, maybe only 6.... if I know Bun. I'll have to ask him. Maybe he'll see this thread before too long, so he can tell us. I do know it is a matching Green lacquer sparkle just like the kit. He asked me what it sounded like from my vantage point and all I could say was "wow, dude it hits you right in the chest!" :notworthy:

That's a green lacquer? Wow, I thought is was a wrap. It looks terrific! I'm envious.

Thanks for posting Kat, The set looks great! You can't go wrong with green sparkle. I didn't know that you can get the new Legacy's with the curved spurs. That's a plus!

That's a 24? How tall is Bun? Because that's what I look like sitting behind a 20. Thanls for the pics Kat. And Rock On Bun.
