Check it out! Would love to hear some feedback and what you guys think. Good or bad. Dish it out! I wouldn’t have posted it if I couldn’t handle criticisms along with positive feedback. Thank you fellers!!!

Heaven & Hell is some very good straight forward rock. Made me want to drive fast and headbang a bit. Your drums sound great. I particularly like the snare tone. It somewhat reminded me of Krokus ' earlier stuff. (With a quite obvious Zep nod...)

Anyhoo, kudos and long life to BRR.

I dig it...The songs I heard were good. It's not the same old, overworn stuff most bands are playing in my area. Really cool.

In your EPK, I would focus much, much more on your original songs and talking about them. What are they about? What was the inspiration? Etc. Talking about covers in an EPK will pigeonhole your band to most folks in the industry. If your goal is to book gigs, then by all means, talk about covers. If you're trying to get the original tunes listened to by folks in the industry, I wouldn't even mention them. Also, invest in some professional photography for the band. It's costly, but trust me, most folks listen with their eyes in the music business.

The singer sounds a lot like my pal, Anthony Corder. He was in an old 80s era rock band from Memphis called Tora Tora. It's a remarkable resemblance to me, but it's probably a bias on my part. Anthony is a world-class singer so that's certainly a compliment.

The Heaven and Hell song has a much better overall mix than Nosedive. Nosedive has a harsh high-end to the mix, especially your hats...The bass is way too present, to my ears on both songs. It buries the guitars a bit on my studio monitors. Just nitpicky notes, from me.

I dig the Zeppelin-type feel. Your drumming is really good on both songs. That's my .02.

Wytheville is a lovely town. I drive though there often taking my daughter to and from school in Winston-Salem. I'll have to swing through when you're playing sometime and check you guys out.

Unvarnished feedback.

I opened it up and not sure what I was being sold. Needs to pop, it's boring and unfocused. What's the deal with the logo. Is it a knitting club? Church group?

I don't care what gear you play, I want to see why I should click on a link and listen. Not giving it to me.

Heaven and Hell sounds Zepish, guitar gets lost, drums too present and no reverb, no air, no room to move. It doesn't breathe, in fact I want to hear the musicians breathe. I feel assaulted for no reason. ITS IN ALL CAPS. I can't hear anything.

Needs a hook. Hook hook hook.

Get rid of all the dates of how long you've been together, when things are coming out, no one cares.

The first video I clicked on has no guitar and it's Mountain. Don't put anything up there that isn't good sounding soundboard or live audio. That sounds bad. Leslie West is spinning in his grave.

None of this is personal, it's just business.

I agree with Langmick .
The Logos need a complete overhaul.

And , I didn’t hear a great hook .

Steve Miller says he tries to get at least 3 hooks per song …..

Another saying I like is .
Don’t bore us , get to the chorus !!!

What would you look for in a logo where you would consider it to be appealing and something that would make you want to listen?

Also, do you feel like both songs are in need of a better chorus hook?

What would you look for in a logo? Do you think it could just be something that has more of an image instead of just the letters?

It’s not just the logo , the word “ Revival “
indicates Acoustic / Americana in my mind .
I don’t think Kick Butt R&R like yall play when i see Revival ….

As far as Logos go I couldn’t name the fonts …..
My wife has done several logos for bands maybe get with her ??

She did this .

I like it.

Very energetic and its great to hear some good classic rock still being made. Seems to have a zep (singer) with a bluesy kind of vibe maybe.

I forgot what forum I was on for a minute and my first thought was this band needs that drummer. Bringing lots of energy which a different drummer might not bring.

The criticism I would have is that it seems a bit generic, mostly guitar wise I guess. Seems very safe and formulated with basic riffs but im a death metal dude so take it with a grain of salt.

Good stuff.

That really is a rad logo!! We had considered the name “Badlands Sound Company”

Honestly was expecting to ear some electrified Bluegrass or a CCR sound with that band name.
Surprisingly nice to hear some straight ahead rock.(if somewhat generic)
Your killer snare drum sound and overall playing kept me listening.
If l heard you guys in the local bar I'd stick around for the second set.

Much respect for putting yourself out there. This forum is one of the toughest rooms I've ever been in!.

I got a Montrose vibe (which is a compliment).

Agreed on the logo and name. I was expecting bluegrass or Americana.

Definitely get some professional photos and pro-shot video. My bands' EPKs are one page and include bio, a few pro press photos, pro promo video, booking info, downloadable stage plot and rider, social links, and a couple quotes from fans/venues. All on one page of our websites because talent buyers don't have time to surf through your entire website. Make everything available to them with one click.

I also agree with the logo comments after looking at the site.

I couldn't make a recommendation of what it should be however I would recommend a decent budget for a professional logo by someone with ideas. That is going to be your permanent brand which is extremely important.

When i saw the logo/site to me it looked like I was about to order some hot wings from a local pub. That's the vibe and thoughts I got from seeing it.

Your first video has the lead guitarist all the way to the left, and he's completely lost in the mix. I also think your logo needs work. And yes, focus on your original material, not the covers.

Spend the money for professional photography, graphics and videos. In any event, good luck.
