Awesome is right! Man, what playing.... just beautiful. That might even earn you "pro" status under your avatar.

Great playing man. You have great feel and you get my vote for the BR band ANY DAY OF THE WEEK partner. Maybe we should send that video to CR and let her see for herself...

she hates me, we exchanged a few words concerning GP.
she said that i can't play and i need a hat...total bitch.

Where did this altercation take place? (As if I didn't know :laughing9:)

Maybe she might be able to help you out with one of Buddy's old toupees?

My god that performance was horrible. Potter plays like he's in high school stage band.

I know that somewhere, there is an unknown Big Band club drummer who has Buddys style, grace and speed. I would have liked to have seen an unknown guy like that get the gig, ESPECIALLY if his name happened to be "Rocky"...

Charlie Adams, who was played with Yanni for decades, is an outstanding drum and can come close to nailing Buddy's style. He would have been a far better choice.

Say what you like but, he has the gig and the girl. That means he also has the last laugh.

If I were him I doubt I'd be laughing, probably wondering what I'd let myself in for.

Here is the verdict from across the Atlantic where the recent event took place.

OK. The Potter debate rages on both sides of the Atlantic, which surely begs the question......

Which drummer(s) would you wish to see step up to the plate and take the 'King's throne' with a 'New Buddy Rich big band'?

Don't just name names, but give a reason too!

Edwin Thomas "Ed" Shaughnessy, he could still kick that BRO into next week!
