There you go. Everyone landed just fine. I actually prefer Josh with NIN (all though Jermone Dillon is still my favourite NIN drummer). It'll be interesting hearing Rubin with the Foos, but I'm sure he'll do great.

I think Ilan's gonna do a great job.

And we know Josh will too.

I'll go see both tours.

I loved Josh in NIN, but I really loved the lineup shortly after Ilan joined and Alessandro Cortini on keys quit. Trent was playing a lot more keyboard and I think he should do more of it in a show.

I covered the Paramore song Still Into You, which Ilan played on. It's a really cool drum part. He'll be great with the Foos. Josh is great no matter what he's doing.

I enjoy Llans playing in his instructional videos . I never got into NIN .
I think id dig them , any suggestions???

I am guessing Ilan is a hired gun for the foos (though I’d be more interested in hearing what he’d do on a record than more Grohl drum tracks - Ilan is a beast).

In the sense that the brought Freese on as a member of the band ? And dor some reason that didn't work and so they're just hiring Ilan ?

I could definitely see that.

Why don't they just give the gig to Taylor Hawkins' son and get the whole thing over with?

Shane is what? 18? They are in their 50s and 60s. It ain’t gonna happen anytime soon if it does at all.

That's how people use social media to create interest.
I don’t think The Foo Fighters need to pull any such “ publicity stunts “ .
They did when they got Josh, but unlike langmick, I don’t see it as a sinister conspiracy to lure people to do anything except attend shows, which is exactly what they should be doing.
